| A good part of the centrel area in Derby City is pedestrianised making it easy and safe to walk around. Cornmarket and Victoria Street with its Victorian buildings has many high street names. There is an area called Derbys Cathedral Quarter where the 16th century buildings of Sadler Gate and Iron Gate are, here is where you find plenty of cloths shops, restaurants and bars and also various gift shops. The all-weather shopping mall Westfield which opened in October 2007, has around 100 shops and numerous restaurants and cafes and is located off St Peters Street and London Road. |
